pixgel — liquid pixel art editor
pixgel is a free, browser-based pixel art editor where every
pixel blends into its neighbours like liquid mercury. Two diagonally
touching pixels pinch together with a smooth capillary bridge. Adjacent pixels
merge into pill shapes. A single isolated pixel renders as a perfect circle.
The geometry mirrors how soap films meet at Plateau borders
and how ferrofluid droplets fuse under a magnetic field.
Draw with a pen, eraser, paint bucket, eyedropper, or marquee tools. Slide the
blend amount from 0% (sharp pixels) to 50% (fully rounded
droplets). Zoom infinitely, pan with two fingers, navigate with the
minimap. Export to SVG at any resolution with configurable
padding and background. Share your drawing as a single URL — the
entire grid is compressed and packed into the link.
